About Yamaha lessons through licensed schools
Yamaha says its music lessons are also available through licensed music schools, for families who cannot find a convenient Yamaha Music School location. Yamaha Music School teaches children from age 2 through courses such as the Apple Course, the Yamaha Primary Course and the Yamaha Piano Course from age 5.5, and offers teens and adults lessons in instruments including piano, guitar, drums, violin and vocal, taught in groups or individually. Yamaha describes its philosophy as nurturing the musicality everyone is born with, developing the ability to create and play music, and encouraging the joy of sharing music. Yamaha also runs Grade Examinations and student showcases for its school network.
The Limbang Shopping Centre school is convenient for families in Choa Chu Kang, and the Hougang Green Shopping Mall school serves the Hougang area in the north-east.
